I am a long time fan of books that have a magical element. To name a few: Harry Potter, The Magic Tree House, The Enchanted Forest Chronicles, Artemis Fowl, The Hobbit, and more. I love discussing books and movies and sharing what I know. I also love it when learners bring new books and movies to my attention. I have a degree in creative writing and am currently Revising and Editing my first novel. I am also working on a second novel in the series (it is currently in the drafting phase). In addition, I have a prior novel that I am only just now returning to in the hopes of rewriting it before I revise and edit it. I also write poetry in many different styles and formats.

As this is a discussion group some learners may be further along in a book series that your learner is reading and may mention things that happen later. (Spoilers may happen) Single Learner Classes: - Single learner classes will go ahead as scheduled unless learner and family request otherwise. - If the discussion ends early, the class will have extra time to play games and trivia. - and / or learners will have writing time at the end of class.
