ファンタジーと冒険の夏の読書クラブ: 小学生高学年の読者のための読書クラブ

Does your learner love reading tales of far off places, magic, or heroic characters in impossible situations? Then this is the book club for them!

During this weekly ongoing course, we will meet to discuss the week's chosen reading title. We will spend 2 weeks on each book. Learners will be expected to pre-read the week's chapters prior to the class meeting. During class time we will discuss the book, allowing learners time to share their opinions and thoughts on the book. In this club we will focus on reading for fun and enjoyment but I will also engage the students in reading comprehension questions including main idea, inference, character analysis, sequence of events, author purpose and more. I will also provide optional extension activities for your learner to further enhance the reading experience. 


I am a kind and encouraging educator who loves any chance to talk about books. In my classes I like to utilize technology such a Nearpod or Gimkit so that each learner has multiple ways to engage and interact with the lesson and others in the class. 

Please note that we will be reading two books per month, and that it is the student’s responsibility to acquire and read the assigned reading before class begins. All titles chosen are widely available wherever books are sold/lent and in a variety of formats (physical book, eBook, and audio).
