I have years of teaching and tutoring experience from Pre-K to Grade 12 in English language arts, reading, and writing. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Central Florida. 

I'm a Certified Creative Writing instructor from the University of Central Florida. I also have years of professional writing experience for nationally-recognized businesses and publications.

Homework

詳細: Depending on learner need and learning style, students will either complete their work entirely in class or do some of their assignments for homework. If homework is assigned, there will typically be 1-2 assignments per week. All work will be reviewed in class. We will discuss your child's learning plan in detail.

Assessment

詳細:  will assess the student in the first class and then build their upcoming classes based on that information. 

Homework will help to provide an assessment as to what is needed next for the child. This course is ongoing, so unless we discuss a set number of classes, we will continue to build skills until you decide to end. 

There will be assignments in each class, so I will evaluate progress week-to-week. Parents are welcome to inquire about progress anytime. I will provide parents with notes or feedback week-to-week. Sometimes, it will be just a few lines of information, but you will be notified as to how they are doing. You will also get copies of their blank and completed worksheets and assignments. 

I will save a "formal" assessment until the end of our tutoring together. If the parent desires, I will provide a customized "end of course" assessment for their student in their last week of class. This may look like a quiz or performing writing/handwriting.
