After a brief review of the basics, you will learn how to make a pendent to use in jewelry or other craft projects. This 'after-school' class incorporates fine motor skills including the use of scissors to cut thin strips of paper, twisting glue tops, squeezing, mixing, painting and manipulating paper in a specific manner. -Cutting templates (see file attachments) -Work surface that is okay to get glue on (plastic place mat, old cutting board, wax paper, etc.) -Any colorful paper: Magazines, Sale flyers, Junk Mail, Take-out Menus, Wrapping Paper, etc. -Pencil or pen -Ruler -Scissors (longer blade scissors are ideal, but not necessary) -One or more of the following: toothpick, bamboo skewer, chop stick -Glue stick and/or -White glue -Water -2 Small mixing containers (plastic cup or food container) -Paintbrush -Damp sponge, wet wipes or paper towels (to wipe sticky hands and clean-up afterward)
