このクラスで学べること

This is an INTERACTIVE one-time class for learners to practice reading and spelling the long vowel E sounds. They will learn long vowel sounds with: CvCe pattern, "ea", "ee", "ey", and "y". 

We will play some reading games in class. An extra worksheet will be provided after class for extra support. 

Learners should be familiar with letter sounds prior to this class. 

Learners are required to spell in this class. Please have your learner bring a paper and pencil or a small whiteboard and marker.

Hello! 👋

My name is Noemi Partosa (Mrs. Noemi). I live in a small town in Ontario, Canada. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom with my 2 and 7 year old daughters. I have been a certified elementary school teacher for almost 10 years. I teach all school subjects from Kindergarten to Grade 6, but I am most passionate about teaching Language Arts to young learners. Over the years I have taught mostly Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2. I have additional qualifications in teaching Reading and English as a Second Language. I've had my TESOL certification for over 10 years. For the past two years, I've been teaching English online to students in China.

My classes focus on reading, writing, and oral (public) speaking for young learners ages 3-7 years old.

- I will not cancel a class if there is only one learner. If the class is a show and tell or a game - I will message the parents before hand if there is only one learner. Parents can either transfer to a new section, or obtain a refund. 
 - My students are mostly young learners. I try not to use the MUTE button in my classroom. Unless there is excessive background noise that is disruptive to the learning of others, I will let my learners know. Parents can also mute their child at their own discretion if they feel there is excessive noise.
