Students will learn from an ESL curriculum made by experts in the online ESL industry and taught by ESL Teacher Karen! I have been teaching ESL online since 2016 to students in China. I absolutely love helping children learn to read, write, and speak English as their second language. My online classroom is set up to aide ESL learners. I have several physical and digital props, lessons, and games at my fingertips to adapt to each learner's style. I take my career as an ESL student seriously. I am a TOEFL primarily teacher to students in China and have spoken with the Oxford University Press about ESL curriculum. In 2019, I was asked to speak at a conference of 700 teachers to talk about how I use technology in the classroom to teach ESL students.  I have a TOEFL certificate and my educational background equips me to work with students speaking English as a second language.  I have taught over 10,000 ESL classes via online ESL programs and am excited to continue my ESL class on Outschool.

This class is designed for ages 8 to 13 for students that need multiple one-on-one private tutoring sessions. Does your child not fit within the 8-13 age range? That's okay! Week 1:
Students will be assessed on their English proficiency and placed in the correct level and unit. Lessons will begin!

Week 2:
One complete lesson with a focus on reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Week 3:
One complete lesson with a focus on reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Week 4:
One complete lesson with a focus on reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

After four weeks of learning, parents and students are able to message me about booking more classes. This class is designed to be ongoing, and could benefit a learner that is enrolled for several lessons. My lesson library includes 250+ lessons, depending on your student's proficiency.

1. Core Curriculum (encompasses entire reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, and listening lessons)
2. Speaking
3. Reading
4. Listening
5. Vocabulary
6. Grammar
