3～5歳の初心者向けESL会話練習

**This class is for beginner ESL learners only. This class is suitable for children just starting to learn English as a Second Language. They do not need to have prior English knowledge. This class is not suitable for native English speakers**

Learn English through fun activities and games that will help ESL learners grow in confidence and improve their English speaking skills.

Each week, students will be introduced to new vocabulary and have the opportunity to practice their pronunciation, recognition, and using new words in full sentences with given sentence frames.

Students will have the opportunity to learn in a relaxed and playful environment with classes 25minutes long, ideal for young, beginner learners with a short attention span and have little to no prior English knowledge.

Our class structure will follow a similar pattern each week with alternating games to retain students attention. Lessons do not build from week to week, so students can attend at any point during the course. Games may include what's missing, spin the wheel, guess the picture, tic tac toe, stairs, and snap.

An average class will be as follows:
1. Welcome and introduction
2. New vocabulary - single words based on a theme e.g. apple, banana, orange
3. Recognition game
4. Introduce a sentence structure/phrase
5. Opportunity to practice through a second game
6. Review Activity
7. Goodbyes

After class students will receive a vocabulary sheet with the new words and sentences used in class so students have the opportunity to practice at home.

W/c 14.2: Colours e.g. blue, orange, green. It is blue. It is orange.
W/c 21.2: Fruit e.g. apple, banana, strawberry. It is a red apple. It is a yellow banana.
W/c 28.2: School Bag e.g. bag, book, pen. I have a book. I have a blue pen.
W/c 7.3: Family e.g. Mother, Father, Sister. I have a big sister.

This is a 26-week course focused only on speaking, listening, pronunciation, and new vocabulary. Once all topics have been covered, we will restart back to week one again.

Once learners are comfortable with basic vocabulary and are able to answer in simple, full sentences they can progress to the Intermediate class or private tutoring. Alternatively, take a look at my twice a week class covering the above topics but with a second class focused on developing reading confidence each week.
