If you have earned your Vocabulary Supersleuth badge from parts 1, 2, and 3 of Vocabulary Supersleuths, you are prepared to continue solving the mysteries of words! In this follow-up class, you will learn a whole new set of roots. We will use the roots from the first three sections, as well as our new roots, to determine the meanings of words. As a homeschooling mom, I have taught my own children Greek and Latin roots. This has prepared them well for the SAT, and has also helped them in their English classes. I also have a degree in elementary education.

There will be some optional activities. For example, I will ask the students to be on the lookout for the roots we have studied in class. If they find one of the roots in a book they are reading, they can share their findings with the other students.
