英語 LA 家庭教師 (K-5)

Learners will work on the English skills that they struggle with.

Learners can work on English skills in the following areas: reading strategies, reading foundations, vocabulary, writing strategies, and grammar & mechanics.

Learners and parents will receive an email with IXL login information once students are enrolled and come to their first tutoring session. 

Weekly (Estimated) Schedule:

Week one - Learners will complete the English Language Arts diagnostic in IXL.
-Once completed, parents will receive two things:
1. A copy of the results.
2. A letter explaining the importance of working on the IXL platform outside tutoring time.

Weeks two to six - Learners will work on skills they struggle with. 

Week seven - Learner will once again complete the English Language Arts screen in IXL. 

Week eight - Learners will review their accomplishments and achievements.

At Encourage Online Academy, students lead the flow of their education. If they express they are struggling with a specific topic, we work with them. If the struggle is because a learner is missing a fundamental skill, we will go back and teach that missing skill. Then, moving forward, when that learner has demonstrated mastery, to prepare them for more challenging skills.
