⭐️Welcome to the Magical Encanto Camp! ⭐️ These three days are going to be packed full of fun! Students will enjoy sharing all their favourite parts of the movies, hearing fan theories and little bits of movie trivia. Each day students will get to do a new creative craft, dance/sing to different Encanto songs and hear a new story that will transport them to the Madrigal household. As well, each day we will learn about new pieces of Colombian culture that are seen in the movie such as the bright and beautiful fashion, the captivating music and cultural fun facts. Together students will be making Abuela’s Glowing Candle, Isabella’s Perfectly Perfect (Or Not) Flower Pot and Madrigal Family Beautiful Butterflies! 🕯 🌸 🦋 (Please see supply list after registration. If you do not have the supplies for each day that is okay! Coloring pages will also be provided in the classroom that students can use as a supplement to the craft.) My classes are fun, high energy, engaging and low pressure. Students are always welcome to participate as much or as little as they like. I strive to keep the classroom a positive environment for everyone involved. *The cultural information and images we will be showing in this class will be taken directly from the official Colombian cultural organization. *This camp is based off of my popular one time Encanto class where we get to do explore Mirabel’s world by making her magical door and other interactive fun. Day One: Abuela’s Glowing Candle 🕯 -Toilet Paper Roll, a rolled up piece of white paper or a thicker white candle -Pencil -Glitter Glue/Markers -If using a toilet paper roll you will want an LED tea light to light up your “candle” at the end. Day Two: Isabella’s Perfectly Perfect (Or Not) Flower Pot 🌸 -Terracotta pot -Acrylic paint -Water and paint brushes -Flowers and soil to put in your pot when it dries, after class 3. Madrigal Family Beautiful Butterflies 🦋 -1 clothesline clip -3 pipe cleaners, one of them can be cut in half -Pony beads in Color’s that you enjoy -Glitter glue or a marker in a favorite colour. -Students are also welcome to bring the candle coloring page attached in the classroom if they would like to color instead of craft.

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
