In this one time class, students will have fun learning lyrical and ballet fundamentals while enjoying the music of Encanto. There will be plenty of time for free dance, exploring slow and light movement qualities as well as level and tempo changes along with directional exploration. We will begin with organized exercises for our feet and legs. Students will learn proper stretching techniques, warm up, positions, simple jumps and choreographed dance phrases to beautiful songs. The focus will be lyrical and artistic expression. We will have dance games throughout and end with a freeze dance where we may or may not talk about Bruno! No prior dance knowledge is necessary for this class.  ***If your dancer has a lightweight scarf or silk please bring it to class! If not, a bandana or a hand towel will work.
