Learners will practice their creative writing and journal writing skills in this ongoing, weekly club.

Learners will practice different forms of writing each week - descriptive writing, expository writing, persuasive writing, narrative writing, short stories, detailed explanations, thoughtful journal entries, newspaper articles, and more! This class focuses on fostering creativity and improving writing skills, while also teaching proper capitalization, usage, grammar, punctuation and spelling.

At the beginning of each class, the teacher will provide engaging story starters and writing prompts related to the current month's theme.

📌 Writing prompts and story starters are cycled through on a weekly basis, and more are added to the cycle as necessary. Because the ongoing class content does not build, learners may enroll and withdraw at any time. Examples of prompts are below for each month.
