Economics for Kids will go over operations utilizing decimals, budgeting, taxes, savings, etc. It will be taught over Zoom for an hour 2x a week. Some techniques used will be PowerPoint, videos, class discussions and demonstrations. Everyone in the class can share ideas, collaborate with others, and ask questions to further their knowledge. I will mostly be a facilitator in discussion, however, when it comes to teaching the material I will utilize inquiry more than anything. Students need to use critical thinking when learning. When scholars know how to solve a problem, I find it beneficial to allow them to demonstrate their knowledge to gain confidence and help other scholars grow.
