I have been teaching for 17 years, I have a passion for music and art and love to teach it to beginner reading students. Music and art opens so many possibilities and art is so easy to do if you have the write tools of shapes. I strive to integrate many topics into one since I usually only get to have my students once a week. You can learn something one day and be able to use it right away. I teach PreK-5th grade general music and art, This includes learning art and music history and basic knowledge to build upon.
*A container to put shaving cream in bottom, make sure the container is big enough for the half sheet of paper to lay down flat *Shaving cream - the cheap white kind works the best *food coloring or liquid water colors *something to mix colors up like a plastic spoon and something flat to scrape the extra shaving cream off like a Popsicle or plastic knife. *2 pieces of paper cut in half (Card stock is the best for this project since shaving cream sticks, but printer paper can be used but make sure you get all the shaving cream off in the end) *I'm using a cookie sheet but anything like a newspaper or towel is needed to lay the paper on after it is dipped so it can dry and something to wipe your hands with -old towel or paper towels
