The topics of injury and death are inherent in the subject of survival, but not the focus of the class. I practice sensitivity in discussing potentially scary content. 

Learners are advised to use adult supervision when practicing any of the skills I share in my class. This may include fire-making, tool usage, water purification, shelter building, overnight camping, hunting, trapping, and cooking.

Occasionally we will cover the importance of hunting/trapping/fishing as sustainable food sources. No slaughter will be shown. During these specific classes there may be footage of processing the meat for cooking (skinning and butchering). These classes will be titled to notify families of their subject matter.

Although I am a certified Wilderness Medical First Responder, in accordance with Outschool policy, I will not be offering medical training or medical services. There will be no graphic medical footage in this class.
