We will learn about earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, volcanoes, avalanches, tornadoes, wildfires, floods and more. Students should have handouts printed and writing utensil each week. Week 1 - Make a Seismograph: Cereal box or rectangle amazon box, string, paper cup, scissors, tape, coins or small rocks, marker or pen, white paper Week 2 - Make a volcano: baking soda, vinegar, jar or cup, cookie sheet Week 3 - Build a structure to stand up to a hurricane: Index cards, 3 straws, tape Week 4 - Jar with a lid, Water, Dishsoap, Vinegar, Glitter (color of your choice) Week 5 - weekly supplies Week 6 - Bring your finished presentation handout and be ready to review!
