In this ongoing class, we will build early reading and writing skills by learning to blend and segment CVC words. Students will practice reading and writing CVC words. We will also learn sight words which will build vocabulary for reading. A dry-erase board and markers is very beneficial in practicing literacy skills. Other supplies such as crayons, pencils, paper, etc. are beneficial to have available just in case they may be used for an activity during class.
