Class will begin with reading a book and a discussion about food chains and the sea animals mentioned in the book. We will then begin the focus of the lesson, drawing a shark, eel, squid, crab, and snail using a fun and simple method that utilizes basic shapes, and finish the class with adding color. The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that the basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
