In this weekly on-going class, students will learn how to sketch out different drawings based on the theme of the week along with inking and coloring with alcohol markers. We'll begin class with friendly introductions along with brief show and tells of any latest masterpieces learners have created. We'll then dive right into our project of the week by planning and sketching out our design followed by inking and then coloring thoroughly with alcohol markers. Learners will be given...
Any brand of alcohol based markers will work for class. Other optional supplies would be gel pens, colored pencils, and posca paint pens. All these work very well alongside alcohol based markers. Proper marker paper is essential when working with alcohol markers. Do NOT use standard printer paper or water color paper. If you are not sure which marker paper to use, you can also use thick card stock paper as an alternative.
