Welcome to this fun girl power drawing class! 

For this class, we will sketch out the figures of some of our favorite Nintendo princesses! We will draw Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, and Rosalina from Super Mario Bros.  

This drawing will take time as it has three characters, and is great for young artists who are ready to draw a lot of detail! The work can be modified for beginners by simplifying some of the smallest details, or can be expanded upon for advanced artists by focusing more on shading and adding even more detail. 

We will focus on sketching out the entire piece first, and learners will be able to watch my hand on screen as I demonstrate and draw along with them. Depending on the pace of the learners in the class, we may be able to color some of the picture. There is a chance that we will only finish the sketching during our time together. If we do not complete the coloring, then coloring can be done after class so that each learner may take their time with it. All learners are encouraged to share their artwork at all stages! 

Students are recommended to use a pencil with good eraser to begin with, and colored pencils to color in their drawing after the pencil work is complete. Some other options may include markers or paint, if the learner would prefer. 

While this is an art-based course, we want to also feel like a community, and get to know others who share a love for these incredible Nintendo gaming characters! This one can be tricky for new artists, so some drawing experience is helpful, though not required. Everyone can get something from this class, regardless of their level. Just do your best and believe in yourself!
