THE CREATIVE DRAWING CLUB is a fun, hands-on class for kids ages 9-14 where imagination comes to life! Students will learn essential drawing skills and take on exciting weekly challenges. From mythical creatures to dream landscapes, every class sparks creativity! WHAT WE WILL DO: Learn Drawing Techniques: We’ll cover everything from basic shapes and shading to fun tricks that make your drawings pop. Every week, we focus on a new skill! Weekly Drawing Challenges: Each class features a creative challenge where kids get to draw anything they imagine! They’ll create characters, fantasy worlds, and more. Share and Grow: At the end of each class, kids can show off their work and get positive feedback from me and their classmates. It’s all about learning and having fun! HOW THE CLASS WORKS: Mini Lessons: I’ll teach fun, quick lessons on new drawing techniques to help students improve. Drawing Time: After each lesson, students get time to draw and experiment. I’ll be there to give tips and encouragement as they create. Classroom Fun: We’ll wrap up with a group discussion where kids can share their art, ask questions, and learn from each other. MY TEACHING STYLE: I keep things relaxed, fun, and creative! I believe in letting kids explore their ideas while guiding them with easy-to-follow lessons. With small class sizes, every student gets individual attention, and I focus on making sure everyone feels confident and excited to draw. This class is perfect for beginners and more experienced young artists who want to have fun while improving their skills. Let’s draw, create, and imagine together!

1. **Sketchbook or Drawing Paper**: A space to draw and practice. 2. **Pencils**: A variety of pencils (HB, 2B) for sketching and shading. 3. **Eraser**: A good eraser for correcting mistakes and refining drawings. 4. **Colored Pencils or Markers**: A set of vibrant colors for adding life to their creations. 5. **Black Sharpie**: For outlining their drawings and adding details. 6. **Craft Supplies**: Optional items like glitter, stickers, or colored paper for extra decoration and creativity. With these supplies, students will be all set to unleash their creativity and have a fantastic time in class!

I’ve been passionate about drawing my entire life, and over the past 20+ years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching children in various art settings, including after-school programs, summer camps, and online classes. I’ve worked with young artists of all ages, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and creativity.
In addition to teaching, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the animation industry, including Disney, Universal Studios, Nickelodeon, and DreamWorks.
