このクラスで学べること
In this class we will learn to draw 10 simple, adorable aquatic animals! Each week we will draw and color two different water animals using basic shapes and simple strokes. No drawing experience is needed. Perfect for beginner artists or more experienced learners who just love drawing animals! In each lesson, I demonstrate the drawing step by step. I use drawing paper, pencil, eraser and alcohol markers. You are free to add creative elements to you drawings to personalize them. Once you are finished with your artwork, you can upload it to the classroom page for me to see. I will provide feedback in a prompt manner. The art supplies you will need to have are a sketchbook (bristol paper pad if you are using alcohol markers), a pencil, an eraser, and markers. Alcohol markers are recommended, but regular markers or coloring pencils may also be used. This is a self-paced course that has no live meetings. You will be able to watch and work on the drawings at your own pace and convenience. Weekly enrolled students can access two lessons each week. Full-class enrolled students have full access to all the lessons. Each lesson is delivered via a pre-recorded video. The duration of the two lessons per week is between 25 and 35 minutes. Hello! I'm Sophia Stafford and I'm excited to share my passion for drawing with your learners!
I teach a variety of drawing classes here on Outschool since March 2020.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Math and an MBA in Marketing. I have lectured undergraduate level Business classes and have tutored students of all ages in Math. Also, I have extensive training and experience in drawing both in traditional and digital media. My professional experience includes graphic and web design, and creating digital marketing materials.
My passion has always been drawing and creative arts. I enjoy helping students learn new things and boost their self-confidence through art. It's very fulfilling when I see my students improving their skills and feeling proud of their accomplishments.
