一緒に描く: スノードームの冬の風景

Welcome to Ms. Priscilla's Art Class where we have fun making art together!

In this one-time class, artists will use step-by-step instructions to draw and color a festive snow globe winter landscape. We will choose a favorite winter character to add to our winter landscape (snowman, deer, santa, or a penguin).

In the beginning of the class, I will have a presentation slide that introduces the art activity. I will briefly go over the elements of art and highlight 4 of the 7 elements that will be used for this activity. I will explain what a landscape is and the importance of space, highlighting what a foreground and background is. We will also explore what reminds us of winter by making a list together! 
The last presentation slide will be which winter character the artists would like to draw in their landscape. Once they all decide, I will begin the lesson by using a dual-screen so that students can see me drawing with them throughout the whole class. 

Students can follow along with the drawing steps but are encouraged to add their own ideas! Towards the end of the class, students are free to color using their favorite coloring material (crayons, markers, oil pastels, etc.)

The pace of our class will be based on the student’s abilities, so we will go slower or faster depending on how we are doing together. 

Their is no experience needed for this class!
