In this one-time class, students will learn different tips for doodling designs.  We will be drawing with pens, because doodles don't have mistakes!  Our project will focus on making designs inside a stencil or bubble letters.  
Class will be structured like a workshop, so students will see a demonstration of different doodling techniques and then students will get to practice those techniques in their own designs.  
Mrs. Borton is a very patient and encouraging teacher, and she will help students see that anyone can do art, even if they think they can't draw.  
Some google slides will be used at the beginning of class, but most of the time in class will be dedicated to drawing.  Mrs. Borton will use a camera to do a close-up on her hands so students will be able to see different techniques up close.  Then students will do their own drawings.
There is no prior knowledge needed for this class.  Doodling is a great stress-reliever, is super-portable, and only needs paper and a pen.  In our high-tech world, everyone needs a way to relax and unwind.  Doodling can be that skill for everyone!
