Week 1Lesson 1Learning, Applying, and Practicing Division StrategiesLesson one is about learning various strategies to help understand division.Lesson 2Division Word ProblemsLesson two is about learning how to navigate word problems and learning a strategy for word problems.Lesson 3Step by Step Process of Short Division with and without remaindersLesson three is about learning the process of "short" division.Lesson 4Introduction to Long DivisionLesson four is an introduction on how to understand the process of long division.
Students will firm up/learn the foundational skills needed to be successful in doing short and the introductory stage of long division. Students will learn strategies to help them with division and the step by step process.
I have been in the classroom setting for four years teaching grade 2nd-5th teaching all subjects consisting of: math, reading, history, science, spelling, and grammar. I also have masters course work in elementary education.
