このクラスで学べること
In this fun interactive class, students will get to learn how to properly warm up their voices to be able to sing Disney songs. They will learn how to sing scales, use their diaphragm to breath and how to sing a song without hurting their voice. Each student will have a short one on one singing time so they can get individual vocal coaching and gain confidence singing alone. Along with that, they will learn how to read simple notes on the scale: rhythm notes, rests, finding C on piano and more. Class One - Beginner rhythm notes, the 3 different voices, sing a song (I will take requests for your favorite Disney song). Class Two- Finding middle C on the piano, diaphragmatic breathing, sing a song. Class Three - Rests and dynamics, breathing techniques, sing a song. Class four - review everything, live performance! By the end of the class, they will be able to sing their favorite Disney songs using proper technique and read beginner music notes.

Hello. My name is Reesa Ishiyama. I'm incredibly passionate about nurturing young minds through the world of music. With over a decade of experience spanning voice, piano, and music theory instruction, I've had the privilege of inspiring students of all ages.
For singing, I teach vocal warm ups, diaphragmatic breathing, proper singing technique, performance technique, repertoire building etc. I teach all genres but my favorite are pop and musical theater.
For piano, I teach note reading, note recognition, rhythm learning, sight reading, repertoire building etc. I teach all genres but my favorite are classical and movie music.
I am originally from Japan and have a degree from Senzoku Music Conservatory in vocal performance. I am also a YAMAHA certified music teacher.
Fun fact about me: I used to be a singer/performer at Disneyland!
