Waterfalls have always fascinated people. From their majestic beauty and power to the daredevils that attempt to go over them. In this class, we will learn about Niagara Falls, using the "Where Is Niagara Falls?" book by Megan Stine as a basis for our studies. It is not required to have this book for class, but some learners may find it useful to read along with each lesson. In this 7 week class, we will learn: Class 1 - Geography - How were the falls made? What is the land around it...
In this class, students will learn about the geography and people that make up the history of The Niagara Falls.
I have been an educator on Outschool since February of 2018. I have my MBA and MHA, both of which have taught me the value of conducting research and asking questions. I have a passion for history and learning. You can usually find me in the middle of 2-3 books or watching a documentary.
There may be some Youtube videos that are seen during this class. I will share my screen and learners will not need to access them on their own. Students will play a Kahoot game on the last day of class. They will be provided the game link and access code.
