Explore the amazing country of China in this in depth class. We will use Nearpod interactive learning platform for this class. Through discussion, lecture, stories, mini quizzes, virtual field trips, and trivia, we will answer the following questions: - How to say hello and goodbye in Mandarin Chinese - Where is China? - How big is China? - What is China's geography like? - What happened in ancient Chinese history? - What animals are native to China? - What are some famous Chinese landmarks and what's the history behind them? This section will include a virtual field trip to the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Army. - What are the two most famous Chinese holidays and how do they celebrate them? - What is REAL Chinese food like? Including some of my own personal favorites from my time living in China. - Who are some famous Chinese celebrities you may know?
