It's time to explore how art and nature go hand in hand. In this 8-week flex class we'll learn all about artists that were not only inspired by nature, but also used nature in their art pieces. Each week learners will have access to an interactive Nearpod lesson presenting a new artist, their art pieces and the weekly art challenge project. While completing this Nearpod learners will have the opportunity to participate in games, activities and community collaborative "bulletin boards" with...
Learners will explore nature inspired artists and their works of art. Learners will work to learn the elements of art while creating their own outdoor art inspired art pieces and completing weekly scavenger hunts.
Please be advised that this course will present lessons through the Nearpod platform. Nearpod is a free platform, but will require parents to set up a free membership to access lessons. YouTube videos will be directly embedded in each week's Nearpod. Kahoot is a free online platform and app that can be used with or without creating an account.
