Learn clay sculpting techniques: From conditioning, cutting, rolling, to shaping, we’ll guide you through every step. Assemble your dragon: Put together your magical creature piece by piece, ready to bake at home. Apply a glossy finish: Learn how to add a professional lacquer finish for that extra sparkle! All supplies are listed, so be sure to have your polymer clay kit ready to go! Get ready for a creative adventure as you make your very own sleeping dragon masterpiece. TAKE THE NEXT STEP: More Advanced Class! Ready to level up your skills? Join our Polymer Clay Art Course #2 and design and build your very own STANDING DRAGON Sculpture! This advanced class will take you through the process of creating a dynamic, three-dimensional dragon sculpture from start to finish. Perfect for artists looking to challenge themselves and refine their clay sculpting techniques! Suggested Supplies: Polymer Bake Clay (any brand you prefer. I like to use Sculpey III). *In total, approximately 1/2 of a 2oz. brick is plenty!* Basic Sculpting tools, toothpick, smoothing tool A Baking sheet (covered with parchment works best) A cutting tool (can be a clay knife, anything that you are comfortable with using) A NON-STICK surface to work on A small non-stick rolling pin A bit of Aluminum Foil Variety of colors of polymer clay (whatever colors you want for your dragon). At least one main color and an accent color. Note: Translucent polymer clay looks really cool for wings, but you can use any color you wish. OPTIONAL: Clear Mod Podge or Gloss glaze for after baking (I use Sculpey Gloss Glaze) Mica Shimmer Powders **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F, depending on your brand of clay). You will bake after class. Parental help is necessary.
