What makes a great after-school club? It’s where amazing people come together to do something that they love. We’re looking for mighty adventurers to come together each week for the love of the game, Dungeons & Dragons. 

We have just two rules to follow: 

1. We’re here to learn and experience D&D with people who want to do the same. 
2. Most importantly, have fun! 

That’s it. We’re here to enjoy ourselves, and to be excellent adventuring companions to one another. This club is all about getting together with other D&D fans to learn about and play the game.

IMPORTANT! 

If you are joining one of our EXISTING campaigns, students should already have some experience with D&D and MUST SCHEDULE A SPECIAL 1-1 SESSION with me to set up a Roll20 account and create your own custom character before you join a group session. 

It takes some time to get setup in Roll20 and create your character, and it would be unfair to the other students to do this during a regular game session. This is why we must have a 1-1 session first. If you mistakenly show up to the game before our 1-1, you will be asked to leave the group session until we can arrange a time for our 1-1 first.

What will we do in D&D Adventure Club? 

What we do in each session will be driven by you, the adventurers, and what you want to experience together in this club. In general, the plan for Fall 2020 is: 

     - Get to know everybody, what you love about the game, and what you want to do together. As a club, adventurers will collaborate to create the experience they want. 

     - Play D&D 5e together. We will stretch our imaginations through gaming and role play. A huge part of the fun of D&D is pretending, acting, and playing the role of your character to the fullest. 
 
     - Celebrate the adventures we’ve had and the unforgettable friends we’ve made. That’s what a club is really about, after all.

Who is this club for? 

This club is for adventurers who already understand the basics of D&D. 

If you are joining a brand new section of D&D Adventure Club, it’s okay if you’ve never played a game before. Joining this club will be a great way to meet other D&D fans and get some playing experience. 

If you are joining an ongoing section of D&D Adventure Club, some experience may be required -- and would definitely be helpful! You will also need to schedule a special 1-on-1 session with me to set up a Roll20 account and create your own custom character before you join a group session.

Can I use my own character?

When you join Adventure Club, you will either need to use a pre-generated character or schedule a special 1-on-1 session with me to create your own custom character before you join a group session.

Do I have to sign up for the whole series? 

You’re welcome to come in and out of the club as you desire, of course. 

But, you’ll have more fun if you come for multiple weeks, so that you and the other adventurers can experience the full story, advance and level up your character(s), and really get to know each other when you play together week after week.

What if I want a more advanced experience?  

This club can be a stepping stone to create or join an ongoing campaign, which I will offer in the future. Interested? Let me know!
