We're excited to offer your high schooler a unique opportunity to delve into the world of data science. This course is designed to give students the skills and knowledge they need to explore their interest in data science and understand the various career paths it offers.

**What’s This Course About?**
Data Science Exploration is all about introducing students to the basics of data science and its significance. They'll learn how to collect, visualize, and interpret data, and get a broad overview of the industries that rely on data scientists. Plus, they'll see how data science plays a role in our everyday lives.

**Special Focus: Data Science in Banking**
One of the highlights of the course is an introduction to data science within the banking industry. Through interactive experiences, students will discover how data scientists develop financial wellness solutions tailored for young adults. They'll also learn to evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of pursuing data science education and career opportunities in banking.

**Why Data Science?**
Data science is a rapidly growing field with excellent job prospects. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in this area is expected to grow 15 percent from 2019 to 2029, much faster than average. The demand for skilled data professionals is high, and the rewards are great, but few schools offer dedicated data science classes.
