Students will learn how to cut various items from paper using folding and symmetry, but not using stencils. We will cover three basic mini-projects—paper chains, simple shapes, and basic alphabet lettering. This will be a relaxed, hands-on session. We plan to smile, laugh, and be ok with mistakes! No previous experience is required, but you will need lots of paper—printer paper, construction paper, or maybe even some wrapping paper you have lying around—some good scissors, and a smile!...
Students will learn how to fold and cut paper without using pencils. Students will cultivate self-confidence and creativity through an unusual art. Students will relax and enjoy a low-stress activity.
Please bring several sheets of paper (construction paper, craft paper, copy paper) and your trustiest pair of scissors, a pen, and stapler.
