Their strong shells provide them much needed protection from the elements. But, that isn't the only amazing adaptation they have! In this class, we will discuss: - How turtles, terrapins, and turtles evolved - Where turtles, terrapins, and turtles are found - What kind of turtles, terrapins, and turtles there are - What adaptations turtles, terrapins, and turtles have - What threats turtles, terrapins, and turtles face Learners will be introduced to these topics within herpetology via an interactive lecture featuring slides, photos, and videos.

Oliver Dunn is a zoologist who focuses on conservation through education by working in the zoo and aquarium field. A lifelong animal conservationist, Oliver has helped with projects around the world from rehabilitating injured seabirds in South Africa to tracking tigers in central India.
