Is your child a Minecraft fan with a big imagination? Our six-session creative writing class uses the magic of Minecraft to teach storytelling skills in a fun, engaging way!

By connecting the game’s familiar elements—like biomes, mobs, and crafting—to writing techniques, we help kids create their own unique stories while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and confidence. No actual gaming required-- this class taps into their love of the game without relying on playing it to inspire them.

Each session focuses on a different storytelling skill, such as world-building, character creation, or dialogue. Kids will design their own "biomes," dream up unforgettable characters, and tackle epic challenges—just like in Minecraft, but with pen and paper (or keyboard). The lessons are accessible, engaging, and packed with inspiration, making writing feel like an adventure instead of an assignment. 

Whether your child is an aspiring author or simply loves all things Minecraft, this class is designed to meet them where they are. Our teachers-- who are all published authors!-- create a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages participation and celebrates creativity.
