I am the author over over 15 books for young people, and another 15 adult titles; these have been translated into over two dozen languages and won multiple state awards, including appearing multiple times on the Books All Young Georgians Must Read list and the Missouri Mark Twain Award list. I have spoken in schools across the world, taught courses to children and adults alike, and run a variety of writing camps.

Each week, student will work on their story and turn in their progress at least twenty-four hours before the following class. In week seven, students will need to come to class having read and prepared notes on the work of one to two other students (they will receive this one week in advance, during the week six class). Please be sure to consider your student's week seven schedule to ensure they have time to provide this feedback.
