In this creative writing class, every week students will choose a small moment they have experienced in their lives. Before class starts, they will share this moment on the classroom page. During video chats each week, each student will discuss their moment for ten minutes giving every detail they remember about the memory they are sharing. Students will improve their writing skills, and learn to use conversations, transitions, aspects of a story, figurative language, and parts of speech correctly. Students will also learn how to write a memoir.
I am a certified teacher for early education through middle school. I taught in the classroom in New Jersey where I live, and now own a tutoring company. I have tutored writing for over 15 years, and have helped students to recognize the developments of their writing over time.
