Students will learn to use the art of body language to increase conversational skills and effectively communicate. Students will be introduced to the main components of body language: word choice, tone and non-verbal behavior. In this class, students will be given opportunities to practice identifying and using different types of body language in order to more effectively communicate with peers, teachers and family members.

As a classroom special education teacher, I have taught many social skills lessons in which we focus on communication with peers.
