In the last part of class, the students will be using the lichess.org website to play chess games against each other. The teacher will give a username and password to each student in order to login to the website by posting it privately in their Chat Box.
The student will be using the lichess.org website to practice various checkmates and to play games against other students or the teacher. This is a FREE site for students to access and to improve their chess skills. ChessKid.com is also a great resource for students to access daily Chess Puzzles, to play chess against the computer, or against other students around the world. There are videos on this site that the students can watch, done by Grand Masters, who can really help the student achieve a higher skill level in chess.
