What follows is a tentative overview of the topics and materials that we'll cover in these sessions. I might change some of these depending on learner needs and interests. WEEK ONE I. I taught German in middle school and high school settings for thirty years before my retirement in 2016; and I lived, studied, and worked in Germany for three years. I've got a bachelor's degree in German, and earning my master's degree in Comparative Literature involved reading and analyzing scores of German novels and plays and writing my papers in German. More recently I have been involved in various German-English translation projects. I've been teaching German online for more than three years now.
