I LOVE high school students, and I have taught many high school math classes over the last several years. I am a certified teacher for grades 4-12 math, and hold a Bachelors in Mathematics and a Master of Arts in Teaching. My focus is on truly UNDERSTANDING the CONCEPTS of math - not just rote memorization of the topics!
Students will need the ability to print PDF's in order to print and complete each lesson's notes. Students also need a 3-ring binder to keep notes and other papers organized and accessible for class. In their 3-ring binder, students will need to keep some blank, lined, or graph paper for use during live classes. Students will also need access to a graphing calculator. If they do not have a physical graphing calculator, there is an app that will work that you can purchase for $4.99. *If students have already taken the Quarter 1 of this class, no new materials are needed
This class uses a standard Algebra 2 scope and sequence, and students will be provided the handouts for each lesson. These handouts are not to be shared with anyone or used for anything outside of class. Students will have access to a Google Doc Student Calendar and may use other websites such as EdPuzzle, PearDeck, Blooket, Kahoot, and Quizizz.
