Students will bring with them at least one item or idea of interest. The can bring an item or picture that is of interest or to represent an idea. Each student will share at least one idea or interest or more if there is time. Students collaborate together so are free to ask or answer questions about items or start a deeper inquiry once the item is introduced. The teacher will use an inquiry based model to deepen learning, facilitate theories and come up with a challenge question so they can explore their expertise more in depth on their own or in our project based learning class. Students can follow through with projects from the challenge question in our Genius Hour classes or keep coming back to collaborate and brainstorm new ideas and ways of thinking.
