Students enrolled in this class will participate in a highly interactive critical thinking game that will require teamwork, active listening, fine tuned powers of observation, flexible thinking, and an ability to think just a little bit differently! Helping students discover their talents, passions, and strengths is one of the things that brings me the greatest fulfillment in life. As a Gifted and Talented Specialist and FIRST LEGO League Robotics coach, I spent countless hours helping elementary school aged children discover the wonder of learning through play. My work as a Gifted and Talented Specialist taught me the importance of inspiring children to look beyond the obvious to the abstract and helped me to see the joy that comes when children are given opportunities to discover new learning through collaborative, open ended problem solving.
