Students should have access to their own makeup because they will be doing their own while I do the demonstration. I tried to put together a comprehensive list, but we will work with whatever you have. The links I provide are for your convenience. They are not affiliate links. Eyeshadow in a variety of bright shades - 
Including but not limited to
Red, green, gold, white

Eyeshadow primer (Tattoo Junkee's eyeshadow primer is $6.99 and is awesome). - Alternatively you can use concealer, or if you must, you can skip this step.  

Loose glitter - gold, silver, red, or green (make sure it’s body glitter, not craft glitter - it should be fine grain glitter since it will be going on the eyes!)

*Important* - Mixing Liquid (Mehron Makeup Mixing Liquid (4.5 oz) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004Z26GSO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_fkpTFbP89AQ1A?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) - very important for the glitter effect.  But can also be done with setting spray. (Like this - NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Makeup Setting Spray, Matte Finish - which can be bought at most Targets or Walmart’s, etc)

Tape (scotch tape or transparent tape)

Cotton swabs

Liquid eyeliner in white, red, and black (could buy in a set like - Matte Liquid Eyeliner, Eyeliner Pen, Waterproof Eyeliner, Colorful Liquid Eyeliner, Color Gel Eyeliner, Waterproof Smudgeproof Long Lasting Colorful Eyeliner, Set of 12 Colors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C31NZSC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_9BpTFb67YVYRK)
Alternatively you could use face paint with a very small brush, but it will be a bit more difficult.

Brushes - at least one small eyeshadow brush about the size of a paintbrush, one powder or blush brush, and at least one very small, thin eyeliner brush (This link shows the different types: https://www.purewow.com/beauty/makeup-brush-guide). You can buy a whole brush set for $10-12 or you can buy them individually. 

Lips: Red lipstick. I prefer long-lasting liquid lipstick with an applicator, like Tattoo Junkee’s “Rebel” (https://www.tattoojunkee.com/rebel-lip-trio-lip-kit) or Anastasia’s Redwood (https://www.anastasiabeverlyhills.com/liquid-lipstick/liquid-lipstick.html)

Setting spray (can get a small bottle of Nyx matte spray for $3.49 at Target, though they have other kinds, and any kind is fine)

A stand mirror. 

Makeup wipes are quite important. (my favorites are Neutrogena Makeup Remover Night Calming Cleansing Wipes, $10 for a twin pack). If you don't have makeup wipes, you should have access to some sort of makeup remover and a paper towel or cotton-swabs so you can make corrections.

Kids with sensitive skin should be careful about makeup content, but we aren’t putting anything on faces that isn’t supposed to be there. Glitter around the eyes can be especially abrasive. Please make sure to get body glitter and not craft glitter! (The difference is in the coarseness of the grain).

 I wrote the following in response to a question about brands for makeup for sensitive skin:
Some of my favorite brands claim to be good for sensitive skin in general. Urban Decay is one of my my go to brands, and it claims to be hypoallergenic. But that doesn't mean it would work for everyone (nothing does). And different colors are more abrasive than others. The Nude pallettes are generally softer and safer, but as you said, not the bright and fun colors. Reds, purples (because they contain reds), and metallics are going to be the most abrasive. Green used to be the worst color. I actually talk in my Wizard of Oz class about why it was so dangerous for them to choose green makeup for Margaret Hamilton. For foundation and my makeup wipes, honestly,  Neutrogena actually does a really good job. It's inexpensive and drugstore brand, but it has worked better than a lot of the more expensive brands.

This class also works on more precise techniques. I will work with students to practice their precision, but some may get frustrated if their results don’t turn out exactly as they hope on the first attempt. Students should know going in that it might be a more challenging look to achieve.
