This ongoing class is all about sharing our love, knowledge, and ideas about chickens AND putting that excitement into action. Learners and Dr. Tory will encourage each other to try a different chicken themed adventure every week, developing some real-life skill through the fun context of chickens! Dr. Tory owns 9 hens, including some raised from day-old chicks, and others that were adopted as adults. She loves having chickens as pets and also enjoys their eggs. Dr. Tory especially loves being creative with the topic of chickens, which inspired her successful Outschool STEM class: Chicken Coop Conundrum - an engineering design challenge. She created this club in response to learners who asked for more opportunities to discuss and do everything-chickens!
