This course aims to be a fun and engaging look into a mostly unknown chapter in American History. We will use slides and a question and answer/seminar format, short video clips, and a Kahoot quiz toward the end of class so that students will retain what they have learned and have a fun competition.
I am a master's degree holder in history, and I have taught for about five years, mostly in college. I attempt to cover difficult or upsetting subjects with the appropriate sensitivity.
