Roblox Studio is free and can be obtained here: https://www.roblox.com/create. Mac and Windows ONLY! It is not compatible with Ipads, Kindles, Tablets, Phones, and Game Consoles.

This program is meant for Basic level players and does not need scripting or writing codes. This is the elementary level of game designing where we learn game aesthetics and environment designing. 

This zombie video game is  created on Roblox Studio, where you can play the role of both a game designer as well as a gamer. This means learners will get to publish their games and exchange the game links with other kids in the class to experience and play the games together. This class is entirely a fun and interactive class where we use project based learning.

The class lesson plan is as follows:
Day 1: Learners will play a sample game to figure out the game aesthetics and environment. Installing Roblox Studio, learning about terrain editor , toolbox , properties and panel. 
Day 2: Using the toolbox feature to create village 1 and using terrain editor to make a road. 
Day 3: Adding the night sky and the weapons in the village. Adding decorations and hidden assets and zombies. 
Day 4: Making game complexities and adding the winning blocks. 
Day 5: Game publishing and testing. 

This is a 5-session course that includes hands-on experience so students can understand and explore the topics. We do not ask for users to share their in-game ids. Your child will also have access to Roblox Studio after the program and can continue to further build on the game or create more fun games with us.
