Welcome to Camp Cretaceous! In this multi-day class, little paleontologists will learn and identify dinosaurs that are Carnivores & Herbivores, as well as, complete a craft or hands-on activity for each day we meet!

Class experience

US Grade Preschool - 1
Follows Teacher-Created Curriculum
3 lessons//1 Week
 Week 1
Lesson 1
Tyrannosaurus Rex/Stegosaurus
Students will learn all about the Tyrannosaurus Rex & Stegosaurus. To go along with our t-rex, students will also craft their own set of claws! Students will be given a Stegosaurus template to complete after class for extra fun!
Lesson 2
Pterodactyl/Parasaurolophus
Students will learn all about the Pterodactyl & Parasaurolophus. To go along with our flying reptile lesson, students will also participate in a hands-on experiment by creating a Fizzing Slime Volcano! Students will be given a Pterodactyl craft to complete after class for extra fun!
Lesson 3
Spinosaurus/Triceratops
Students will learn all about the Spinosaurus & Triceratops. To go along with our dinosaurs, students will craft their own Spinosaurus using a paper plate! Students will be given different templates to create dinosaurs out of playdoh for after class fun!
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understanding of various dinosaurs, including but not limited to habitat, food intake, size/structure, and more!
The Sunday prior to the week, I will post the coloring pages to be printed for our dinosaurs, and a reminder of the needed materials for the activities/crafts. Please keep in mind that the breakdown below of materials needed is for the entire week...not necessarily for one day. 

Materials needed:

Day 1 --- 2 paper plates, black construction paper, paint/crayons/markers, scissors, string or ribbon, glue, and tape.

Day 2 --- white Elmers glue, saline solution, baking soda, white vinegar, yellow and red food coloring, small container, small cup, stirring stick, and tray. 

Day 3 --- paper plate, Spinosaurus template (provided by teacher), paint/markers/crayons, scissors, glue, and colored construction paper. 
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance will be needed as learners may need to use scissors during our crafting portion of class.
