In this Exam English Writing course, learners will practise each type of writing task. Classes will include input on what is required in the task, how to complete the task successfully and feedback on writing each week too.

Week of 28/10/24 - Reading and Use of English Part 2 - Open cloze
Week of 4/11/24 - Reading and Use of English Part 3 - Word formation
Week of 11/11/24 - Reading and Use of English Part 4 - Key word transformations
Week of 18/11/24 - Reading and Use of English Part 5 - Multiple choice
Week of 25/11/24 - Reading and Use of English Part 6 - Cross-text multiple matching
Week of 2/12/24 - Reading and Use of English Part 7 - Gapped text
Week of 9/12/24 - Reading and Use of English Part 8 - Multiple matching

We will return to cover each part of the reading exam when the dates are complete. Learners can join at any point. Each part of the reading exam uses different skills and different strategies are needed. Learners do not need to join at Part 1.

Each week will include input on how to complete the task successfully. Learners will plan their writing task with the teacher and work on part of it together. Learners will then be required to complete their writing task after class and submit it to the classroom to be marked. Feedback will be given on all writing tasks.
