Dungeons and Dragons is the most popular tabletop roleplaying game in history, played by millions of people of all ages worldwide. Playing it uses theatrical improv, some basic math, creative problem-solving skills, and lots of imagination. This campaign is established for players who are already familiar with the rules of the game, and who are comfortable playing upper-level characters. The pace of the game will be set by the players, so they don't feel like they need to rush to be finished by a certain date. The story is learner-directed, and so the class can take a variety of paths depending on the decisions the players make! New players can join at any point, we'll make space in the story for them. The adventure begins when the players come to the small town of Jigow, in northern Xhorhas. Thrown together after a day of friendly competition, the players see a mysterious vision, someone reaching out to them for help, and find a mysterious artifiact. Searching for answers, the party travels the world to purse a powerful and dangerous new magical mineral, a drowned city, and the legend of a forgotten hero whose despair— or redemption— might be at the centre of forces that threaten the world. The characters, if they survive, will level from level 3 to 13. Please note: except in rare instances, PvP will not be part of this game; the goal is to work together. Depictions of fictional violence will occur throughout the class. No sensual content will be allowed, and the general rating of the "mature themes" mentioned above shouldn't exceed PG-13-level.
受講に必要なもの
Players will be expected to bring an 3rd-level or above character sheet built using the Standard Array of stats or Point Buy, that fits in the world of Exandria. The specifics of the character build will be communicated to any new players when they join, as they may wish to change it depending on who else is in the class and where the story is. They will also either need a set of polyhedral gaming dice or to use an online dice roller.

We use Shmeppy.com for maps and if players have a DNDBeyond account there is an (optional) campaign they can join. Players may find the Players Handbook useful and are welcome to use additional expansion material, but they can also participate fully using the free rules found at https://dnd.wizards.com/what-is-dnd/basic-rules .

I'm offering this class because I love the game of D&D and the effect it's had on my life. I'm an avid player and DM of the game (I play in three games and run four regular campaigns), and I continue to be delighted by what happens once the character sheets and dice come out. My friendships have gotten deeper, I've become a more confident and creative person, and I get to be awesome at least once a week (which is great for self-image).
I've introduced dozens of people to the game through regular beginner one-shots I ran bi-weekly at a local game cafe, so I am daunted neither by the complexity of the game nor by off-the-wall questions. I've probably heard it all before. レビュー
